Slow for sale
Despite the sentimental value, the new apartment is small, and Slow is gonna go elsewhere. Anyone interested? Check the ad on craiglist (tips on advertising a bike like this on craigslist appreciated).
Done - Slow is sold, to one K of Santa Cruz. Burning Man was mentioned in the conversation. Slow may do interesting things yet.
The real motivator for selling Slow was that I finally passed a window and saw a reflection of me riding, with my back curved outward like a crescent moon. That ain't a good bike fit, and it was never going to be.
xb: sometimes vertical is an option, but the lease in this '60s-era apartment building specifically forbids hanging stuff from the ceiling. As they stay in Texas, don't mess with asbestos.
