when i was a kid there was one year when some quack predicted that the end was coming on some certain day. as 6th graders we held onto the rumor of it all week.
it gave me an excuse not to do any homework that week.
have you seen that series "Rome" on HBO? it's pretty good.
ov: but who else could make that pun? Gotta take those chances when they're presented.
L: haven't been seeing much TV lately, though I've heard "Rome" is good (and not for children!). Been reading Homer (translated) actually. I should go back and read JC...
