What kind of couch comes in a cardboard box?
A Swedish-Chinese one. Cushion/mattress came separate (on the same trip inside the same car, along with a large pile of other Swedish-Chinese goods).
ikea.
Ikea: it ain't hip anymore, but it sure is cheap.
Home Depot has Lowe's; Borders battles with Barnes and Noble; Safeway vs. Albertson's/Lucky; but what is the nearly-identical competitor to Ikea? Surely they can't have patented their business model (Scandinavian design, made by low-wage workers in China?).
That would be JYSK.
JYSK? Jysk...Aha. Looks like Jysk has yet to invade the USA, but if they've got 1350 locations worldwide already, I've gotta think that it'll only be a matter of time.
